The objective of this document/file is to allow research oriented parties a quickscan of the ‘landscape of science policy and research organisations’ in the Netherlands, using 3 appendixes. Starting with the responsible Ministry, the organisational lines and links are followed down to the individual research organisations in successive appendixes. Belgium is a federal state of a number of states within the country, deviding the country in a number of linguistical regions. This leads to a situation like in Germany (Bundesländer) and the USA (States). So, what are the Belgium state’s research organisations? Yet while all Germans speak German, “all” USA citizens speak American English, in Belgium not all (are willing to) speak all the three languages of the country (Flemish (Dutch), Wallonian (French), Luxenburgs)
